The on-campus University Chaplaincy is located
in Alexander House in the northern part of the Hobart campus, in the Brooks
Building on the Launceston campus and the Retreat Room at the Burnie Centre.
The Chaplaincy Centres are intended to provide spiritual support for students and staff of the University community. Currently in Hobart, there are Chaplains representing the Anglican, Presbyterian, Orthodox, and Roman Catholic churches, and in Launceston, there are Chaplains
representing the Uniting, Presbyterian, Orthodox, Roman Catholic and Anglican churches. These Chaplains are available for private interview.
In Hobart, we have Alexander House which is a white house on the hill behind the TUU car park. The Centre has facilities such as the Common Room and the Lecture Room, where various Christian groups meet during or after hours for discussion, Bible study, prayer or instruction. There is a small Lecture Room where lectures are given by the Chaplains throughout the academic year. Of course, there is also the Chapel where regular services of worship are held throughout the week.
Please search around the site for details of who's who and what's on.
